A District of Columbia Council candidate’s defamation lawsuit towards the Washington Enterprise Journal and certainly one of its former reporters has been dismissed.
Heidi Pasichow, a decide in D.C. Superior Court docket, issued the ruling on Aug. 18.
Candidate Vincent Orange filed a defamation lawsuit in D.C. Superior Court docket towards the Enterprise Journal and its former reporter, Alex Koma. Orange cited a 2021 article, written by Koma that reported “a wide range of distinguished monetary backers additionally deserted the Chamber throughout Orange’s tenure, based on inner paperwork the Washington Enterprise Journal obtained final yr.”
Koma is now a reporter with Metropolis Paper.
