Hollywood Reporter promotes Feinberg to government editor of awards

Scott Feinberg

Scott Feinberg, The Hollywood Reporter’s award-winning awards columnist and host of its “Awards Chatter” podcast, has been named government editor of awards.

A narrative on its web site states, “Feinberg, who has been with THR since 2011, will proceed to anchor protection of the Oscar, Emmy, Tony and Grammy races, and at related movie festivals, award reveals and different occasions across the nation and the world. He can even work collaboratively with THR’s dynamic awards staff, which is overseen by deputy editorial director Jeanie Pyun, and whose standalone points are led by awards editor Tyler Coates with deputy awards editor Beatrice Verhoeven, who each joined the publication final yr.

“Feinberg’s work for THR has been acknowledged with six Nationwide Arts and Leisure Journalism Awards and 5 SoCal Journalism Awards from the Los Angeles Press Membership, and Awards Chatter was nominated for the most effective podcast Shorty Award in 2019.”
