Cat present in bag going via TSA safety at NYC airport

Guards at Kennedy Airport had been shocked to find a cat caught in a checked bag going via safety, the Transportation Safety Administration stated Tuesday, including that the feline was no worse for the surprising journey.

The feline, which appeared in photographs to have orange fur, went undetected till it popped up on an X-ray of the suitcase on the Queens hub on Nov. 16, a TSA spokesperson stated.

Airport officers discovered the bag’s proprietor, who stated the cat belonged to somebody he lives with, the spokesperson stated in a tweet.

“On the brilliant web site, the cat’s out of the bag and safely again dwelling,” she wrote.
