A North Carolina teenager has been charged with involuntary manslaughter after one other teenager fell off a golf cart they had been driving in and died.
The incident occurred Monday in Mount Holly, about 15 miles west of Charlotte, in keeping with the Gaston County Police Division.
Police responded after studies of individuals consuming and driving a golf cart and an individual falling off the cart.
Gabby Carrigan, 18, was discovered unconscious and never respiratory. She was taken to a close-by hospital however died Tuesday.
The motive force of the golf cart, Derek Helms, 19, was charged with involuntary manslaughter, DWI, felony severe damage by car and reckless driving and stays in Gaston County Jail on $300,000 bond.
The incident is the second deadly golf cart crash in North Carolina for the reason that begin of the summer time.
