Texas deputy busted in prostitution sting, will get fired

A Texas legislation enforcement officer was arrested in a prostitution sting and was fired the subsequent day.

Brian Davis was assistant chief deputy on the Precinct 5 Constable’s Workplace in Harris County, which incorporates Houston. He was charged Wednesday with solicitation.

“We maintain our deputies to the very best commonplace,” his boss Ted Heap told local ABC affiliate KTRK. “His termination is efficient instantly.”

Davis was busted in Montgomery County, which borders Harris County to the north. The Montgomery County sheriff’s workplace stated it arrested 14 folks within the sting operation at an unnamed lodge. All 14 had been charged with solicitation, which is a felony in Texas.

“We’re sending a message that we’re not going to tolerate this exercise in our neighborhood,” the Montgomery County sheriff’s workplace said in a press release. “We are going to arrest and cost those that have interaction on this illicit act.”

Davis is married and a 30-year legislation enforcement veteran who beforehand worked as a Houston police detective, native CBS affiliate KHOU reported.
