St Teresa’s Faculty mourns loss of life of Johannesburg pupil, one other in hospital

A prime Johannesburg personal women’ faculty group was left devastated after one pupil died and one other was left recovering in hospital.

One woman from St Teresa’s Faculty in Rosebank died after taking her life on Monday.

A fellow pupil was admitted to hospital following the incident. 

In a press release to News24, the college mentioned: “The St Teresa’s Faculty group is devastated by the tragic occasions that occurred at our faculty on Monday, 19 September 2022, the place an remoted incident led to considered one of our Grade 8 pupils passing away and a second Grade 8 pupil being injured.

“We ask the college group and public to hope for the households affected by this tragedy and to respect the privateness of the mother and father and households of those kids.” 

The college added that they had been investigating the matter to know what occurred.

The college mentioned counselling was out there for the ladies.
