BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (January 25, 2023) – The Southeastern Convention leads all athletic conferences with 18 student-athletes named to the Prime 50 Watch Checklist for the 2023 USA Softball Collegiate Participant of the Yr.
The USA Softball Collegiate Participant of the Yr award, which is coming into its twenty first season, acknowledges excellent athletic achievement by Division I feminine collegiate softball gamers throughout the nation. Earlier recipients of the USA Softball Collegiate Participant of the Yr award from SEC member establishments are Monica Abbott (Tennessee, 2007), Lauren Haeger (Florida, 2015) and Kelly Barnhill (Florida, 2017).
The Prime 25 Finalists for the 2023 USA Softball Collegiate Participant of the Yr award might be introduced on Wednesday, April 19.
