Royal employees who offered private companies to the late Queen have been advised their jobs will probably be affected underneath King Charles III.

A letter has been despatched to numerous staff saying that consultations will probably be held.

The letter, from Sir Michael Stevens, keeper of the privy purse, says: “I’m certain you may respect that these are delicate and difficult instances.”
