As Britons Wait to See Queen’s Coffin, ‘The Queue’ Takes On a Lifetime of Its Personal

LONDON—It’s now simply known as The Queue, with capitals. It has drawn soccer star David Beckham and even a go to from King Charles III and his son Prince William.

For days, a whole lot of hundreds of Britons and guests have joined the long line, recognized within the U.Okay. as a queue, to see the coffin of the late Queen Elizabeth II. They’ve come from across the nation—some from even world wide—braving sleepless nights, chilly temperatures and a wait that at one level hit greater than 24 hours.
