U.S., Allies Push for Accountability Over Alleged Russian Conflict Crimes in Ukraine

WASHINGTON—The U.S. and its allies used Thursday’s United Nations Safety Council assembly to name for an investigation into Russia’s alleged war crimes in Ukraine, however proposed few concrete measures for shifting such a course of ahead.

“We help a spread of nationwide and worldwide efforts to gather and look at mounting proof of struggle crimes in Ukraine,” U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken informed the ground on the United Nations Safety Council assembly. “We should maintain these perpetrators to account.”
