World Financial institution’s David Malpass Says He Is Not Resigning Amid Criticism of His Local weather Views

WASHINGTON—World Financial institution President David Malpass mentioned Friday he wasn’t resigning from his place amid calls from local weather advocates for him to step down over his views on local weather change.

Mr. Malpass additionally mentioned the financial institution’s shareholders—governments world wide led by the U.S.—have not requested him to resign. Mr. Malpass, who was nominated to lead the bank by former President Donald Trump, was talking in an interview with Politico.
